7F Lodge is such an iconic wedding venue in the College Station area, the lovely white chapel is instantly recognisable and the surrounding greenery and trees make it such an ideal place to be married.

Weddings here definitely have a unique vibe, and as local wedding photographers we’ve had the pleasure of having been to this venue enough times to have a list of some of our favorite areas of the property.

Of course nothing tells the story like a picture, so we took the time to go through some of our favorite weddings and engagement photos to put together a list of our go to areas at 7F Lodge & Events!

1. The Chapel – This lovely white chapel is situated next to a pond, and we can honestly say it has no bad angles! Not only does it look great in ceremony photos, we often use it for other portions of the day like bridesmaids photos and couples portraits. It’s especially photogenic in the spring but looks great year round!
2. Pathways & bridal suite – One of the features unique to 7F Lodge are all the paths surrounding the property that make it easy to photograph wedding parties. The paths create some great leading lines and because they are surrounded by trees, the lighting is nice and even no matter the time of day! The bridal suite of course also has great lighting and is perfect for getting ready + detail photos
3. The vintage ford truck – Located on site, this classic Ford truck features an eye-catching shade of sea foam green with just the right amount of patina. It’s a favorite for couples photos and anyone that is into a rustic vibe.
4. Inside reception area – This indoors area is such a great space, especially on those surprisingly cold and windy days.
5. Outdoor reception area – Where the party is! We love how versatile this space is and first dances always look so dreamy here.
