Taking some today to reflect on one of our favorite weddings so far this year! Christine and Tommy were literally one of the SWEETEST couples I’ve ever met. They met at Texas A&M and Tommy was in the corps! We shot their engagement photos on campus and knew we were going to have a blast at their wedding!
Christine and Tommy had their ceremony at First United Methodist Church in Bryan, Texas. There were some beautiful stained glass windows, but the most striking part of the property was the courtyard. We ended up taking the wedding party photos and the couples portraits there and I was OBSESSED with how amazing they turned out.
I knew that Christine wanted a very traditional feel to her wedding, so as a professional wedding photographer, it was fun to be able to pick places in the courtyard that would give them that classic vibe to their photos. Her dress was also GORGEOUSSSS so that made it easy to just position her friends and family and then let them have their fun!
It was also super hot that day (thank you Texas) so we took some photos in the shade and made sure that no one overheated lol. Luckily, the wedding party was dressed in light colors (I’m becoming obsessed with the tea green, also) so no one was melting.
Christine and Tommy also did a first touch and letter reading to each other before the ceremony. When I tell y’all I bawled, I’m not even exaggerating. The love they have for each other was so genuine and heartfelt. Watching them interact throughout the day and being able to photograph their true love was honestly so special and such a great reminder of why we love being wedding photographers!!
